Taking an active role in protecting the marine ecosystem is a driving force behind our marine conservation efforts. With two protected marine sanctuaries in front of the resort, comprising our house reef, another 20-something marine sanctuaries along the coast and in neighboring Apo Island, conservation is a key inspiration. We have a no-touch, no-gloves, no-feed , no-anchoring policy and we recently released a diving etiquette video (click here) to enforce our efforts. A few months ago we sunk three shipping containers on a sandy area next to our House Reef which we hope will become popular artificial reefs.
